Adam Siddall
Founding Director, Property Lawyer
Adam is the founding director of NZ Legal and a New Zealand property lawyer. He advises buyers, sellers, developers, lenders, and overseas investors across residential and commercial property — covering conveyancing, OIA sensitive land consents, commercial leasing, construction finance, and property development from subdivision through to off-the-plan sales.
Adam founded NZ Legal to give New Zealand property buyers and sellers a specialist alternative to the generalist suburban firm. The practice runs on three principles: fixed fees so the client knows the number before they sign anything, fast turnaround on contract review and conditions, and a single point of contact through to settlement.
His transaction experience spans both sides of the market — acting for purchasers and vendors on residential and commercial deals, for landlords and tenants on leasing portfolios (including Goodman Property’s NZ portfolio and BNZ Branch Properties), for BNZ on property finance, and for foreign investors navigating Overseas Investment Act sensitive land applications. He has also advised Waikato District Council, Auckland Council, and Panuku on property development and infrastructure matters.
Adam gained his Bachelor of Laws and early legal experience in Auckland, then completed a Master of Laws at the University of Southern California while playing professional rugby for Team USA. The result is an unusually deep cross-border network — particularly useful for clients moving between the New Zealand and US property markets.
